Courses For Children

May the best team win!At Tots2Teens we believe it is important for children to learn essential basic first aid skills. We offer a wide range of courses designed for children and young people to enable them to confidentially help others in an emergency situation and develop their knowledge in life saving first aid skills.  Courses are tailored to take into account the age of the child, time allowance and requirements of the pupils.  Courses are taught by a specialist paediatric nurse, in a relaxed and fun way.

Who should attend?
This course is ideal for young people up to the age of 16 years old including:

  • Primary and Secondary school children
  • Brownies and Girl Guides – This course covers all of the requirements of Brownies and Girl Guides First Aid Badge and Brownies Advanced First Aid Badge
  • Scouts emergency aid levels 1,2,3,4 and 5 badge
  • Duke of Edinburgh Expedition Awards – suitable for the Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards
  • Young people wishing to hold a First Aid certificate; as baby sitters and child carers,

  • Cuts, bleeds, wounds and embedded objects
  • Contents of a First Aid Kit
  • Foreign objects in eyes, ears and nose
  • Eye injuries
  • Partial amputation
  • Burns and scalds
  • Nose bleeds
  • Poisoning
  • Bites and stings
  • Seizures and epilepsy
  • Head injuries and concussion
  • Allergy and anaphylaxis
  • Treatment of medical conditions such as fitting and asthma
